Soft tannins and beautiful spice notes balance the full body of this medium-smoked whiskey, finished first in an Oloroso Sherry cask, then in a Pedro Ximénez cask, and finally for one full year in a Tawny Port cask. Plum, ripe cherries, blackberry, and chocolate accent the earthy tones from 18 hours on Speyside peat, ending with waves of warm caramel and delicate, primal smoke.
