What You Need to Know

Currently, we are only able to ship to NY, DC and KY. For all other states, members are required to come to the distillery to purchase/pick-up their member allocations or other purchases. By completing the online membership enrollment form, you acknowledge that you have signed up for the automatic shipments in the stated months each year. Once signed up, you will immediately be able to customize your order of the current allocation. A pre-shipment email will be sent to the email address we have on file for all subsequent releases. Members may close membership at any time after receiving two releases. Members may skip one release per year without cancelling. See the FAQ below for more information.

FAQ

General Terms and Conditions

  • No enrollment fee and you may cancel your membership any time after receiving two releases.
  • State laws restrict or prevent shipping spirits directly to consumers in many states, preventing Hillrock to ship whiskey to these states. Currently, we are only able to ship to NY, DC and KY. For all other states, members are required to come to the distillery (or the Union Square Farmers Market on select Saturdays) to purchase/pick-up their member allocations or other purchases.
  • Any orders shipped outside of NY, DC, or KY are not eligible for any member discounts.
  • New members receive the current release within 2 weeks of joining.
  • All releases may be customized during the customization period, with the prescribed minimum $ order amount equal to the applicable release.
  • Members may skip one release per year after receiving 2 releases.
  • Cancellation of membership is allowed at any time after receipt of two club releases.
  • Membership benefits will commence upon first membership club order.
  • All members must be 21 Yrs old with valid ID & Signature Required at Delivery.

Membership Cancellations

  • All memberships are continuous until cancelled and you may close your membership any time after receiving two releases. Your credit card will be billed automatically for the retail price of the whiskey (less member savings) plus shipping (depending on membership level) and any applicable taxes and fees. We cannot stop a pending shipment once the deadline has passed. Shipping charges apply if the shipment is returned.

  • If not, please contact us to correct your email address. We want to keep you informed of upcoming member releases and special whiskey offers. Be assured we take your privacy seriously. Hillrock Estate Distillery does not share or sell its mailing list.

Before Each Shipment

  • We contact members via email in advance with information regarding the Whiskey selection, price, deadline for account changes. Once the deadline passes, we cannot change an address or stop a shipment. Shipping charges will apply if the whiskey is returned.

Changes to Your Account

  • You can reach us via email at members@hillrockdistillery.com or by phone at 518-329-5323. The membership team is available daily between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.  For your security, we ask that you do not send credit card numbers via email, please call.

Shipping Details

  • All shipments are sent via UPS.
  • State laws restrict or prevent shipping spirits directly to consumers in many states, preventing Hillrock to ship whiskey to these states.
    Currently, we are able to ship only to NY, DC and KY. For all other
    States, members would be required to come to the distillery to
    purchase/pick-up their member allocations or other purchases. If you are interested in a Pick-Up Only membership, please contact us at members@hillrockdistillery.com.
  • Some members opt to have their whiskey sent to a business address
    or to a UPS store for pickup.
  • Avoid reshipment costs for undelivered whiskey by letting us know about any holds or changes before the deadline. We are happy to work with you to delay releases when travel or weather is a concern. We are unable to hold whiskeys returned to us as undeliverable for more than 30 days.
  • While we may offer discounted shipping, should your release be
    returned for any reason, the fee to reship would be the full rate
    charged by UPS to Hillrock Estate Distillery. If there has been some
    sort of error with delivery, we will be happy to work with you to resolve
    it.
  • Pickup is available at the distillery or at the Union Square Farmers Market on select Saturdays\

30 Day Pickup Window

  • If a member requests to pick up at the distillery they will have a 30-day
    window to pick up. We are unable to hold whiskey past 30 days at the
    distillery.

Substitutions or Additions

  • You may substitute or add to your member release. The price will reflect your request less any applicable member savings. Additional bottles may be added for no additional shipping charge.
